Traversing South Dakota, west to east or vice versa, may not sound like much to some, but there is plenty to see and do. After leaving the Rapid City area, one can drive through the famous Badlands area, and stop at Kadoka, Stamford and Murdo for some local sights enroute to Chamberlain. At Chamberlain, there is a scenic 54 mile drive that the local Chamber of Commerce direct you to.
