Day 18 - May 28, 1997

Estes Park, Colorado to Guernsey, Wyoming

For the beer lover, you have a chance to stop in Fort Collins and tour one of the many Anheuser-Busch breweries. Whether you do or don't, the next point of interest will be Cheyenne, Wyoming, where I plan to see things like the Old West Museum, the Union Pacific Deport (railroads are a part of western history), the Historic Governor's Mansion and so on. The destination for this day is the Guernsey, Fort Laramie are of southeastern Wyoming, each having their place in the history of the Old West. The famous Oregon Trail passed through this area, leaving very visible ruts in the terrain.
