Day 49 - June 28, 1997

Baltimore, Maryland to Wilmington, Delaware

Short driving days provide more time to see sights along the way. Today, we can stop for a walking tour of Havre de Grace, and then plan for a visit to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. At New Castle, we can see more of colonial America's history with a walking tour of the town. In the Wilmington area there are a number of sights worth seeing, such as the Brandywine River Museum, or the Hagley or Winterhur Museums.
