Day 37 - June 16, 1997

Tallahassee, Florida to Macon, Georgia

The south has its share of old plantations, and if we didn't see any so far on this trip, we can plan to visit the Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. At Tifton, Georgia, there is a 19th century farm that should be fun, or at Cordella, a tour of the Georgia Veteran's Park, with its tanks and planes, might amuse the visitor. At Macon, we can stop for the day, and see local attractions such as the Old Cannonball House, the Johnston-Felton-Hay House or the Woodruff House.
