Omaha, Nebraska to Kansas City, Missouri

The continued journey southward this day has many options for the tourist, so one has to decide how to spend the day. At Nebraska City, we can visit the John Brown Historical Village, Wildwood House and the Arbor Lodge State Park. At Brownville, we could see the Captain Bailey Museum and Victorian House or the Steamboat Museum. Once into Missouri, the tourist can see the Patee Museum and Jesse James House in St. Joseph, or continue onto Independence, where there are a number of Harry S. Truman sites to see. At Kansas City, you might enjoy the Kansas City Museum, the Arabia Steamboat Museum or the scenic drive on Memorial Drive near Penn Valley Park.
