Headed to Rhode Island, we will travel through scenic eastern Connecticut. Our destination for this morning is the famous resort area of Newport, with its seafaring and colonial history. After lunch we can head north to Providence and there visit the capital, tour the Benefit Street district or view the Looff Carousel at Cresent Park.
