Day 54 - July 3, 1997

Kingston, New York to Hartford, Connecticut

Turning around and headed south on the east side of the Hudson River, this day can include a visit to Hyde Park, home of President Roosevelt. From there we can proceed east into Connecticut and visit such places as Bristol, with its Carousel and Watch Museums. In the Hartford area, there is much to see and do. For aircraft buffs, there is the New England Air Museum near Bradley International Airport. Or for different transportation, we can visit the Connecticut Trolly Museum at Windsor Locks. In Hartford itself, popular attractions include the state capital grounds, the Old State House, Mark Twain's House, and more.
