One of the most notable attractions in the New York City area is the Statue of Liberty, and we can include that in today's itinerary. After an early morning visit to the statue, we can continue across the Hudson River and spend a short day in Manhatten. Park the car and take cab to such places as the Empire State Building, The Metropolitan Art Museum, Central Park or Times Square. We'll leave the city before rush hour and find a place to stay just north of the city.
