Heading south towards Oregon, we can plan for stops at Tacoma if we want to see the McChord Air Museum, or stopping at Olympia to visit the state capital grounds. At Castle Rock, Oregon, we can visit the Mount St. Helens Visitor's Center to learn about volcanos and such. Our visit to Portland can include seeing the Pioneer Courthouse Plaza and/or the Tom McCall waterfront park.
