Enroute to Boise, our trip can include sights such as more lava beds, or stops at the Balanced Rock or Bruneau Dunes State Parks. The Bruneau Canyon overlook provide scenic views just 15 miles southeast of Bruneau. Boise offers the visitor its Boise River Greenbelt, the state capital grounds, or a visit to the Old Boise Penitentiary on Warm Springs Avenue.
