I spent my first day at Denali, Alaska, trying to see Mount McKinley, the highest peak in North America. Because of the cloud cover, I couldn't see it on my first day there. Instead, I climbed to the top of Mount Healy, elevation 5000 feet above sea level, and got soaking wet in a hail-like rain. Ah, but it's fun.
