Angel's Landing is located in the Zion National Park in southwestern Utah. The Virgin River cuts its way through the hugh sandstone mountains, making for very dramatic scenery. One of the hikes I like to take while there is to trudge up the back side of Angel's Landing, covering 2.5 miles to gain 1500 feet in altitude. It's not for the faint of heart, lungs and legs.
