All the government building at Nassau were painted pink and white. The color combination is pretty but not suggestive of authority or importance. Actually, it reminds me of the song "The girl that I marry.....", which uses the words in reference to the bride-to-be being "pink and white".
As you can see, I wasn't the only tourist to think the building was deserving of a photograph, but then it's probably the people posing that was important to the others.
