I don't see how they make much money or survive in business. Maybe the peak season (November-February) are boom times for the sidewalk vendors but they didn't seem to be doing much business in August.
Sidewalk vendors and open markets seem to be everywhere in the Caribbean ports of call. I will grant them one compliment, they don't hassle the passerby. If they did, people wouldn't stop to see what they have to sell. I bought a few little things but no major purchases. Who knows whether the clothing you might be would survive their first washing?
