August 15, 2005 - Navigator at the docks

Many people favor taking a cruise for one important reason. Once you check in and unpack your bags, you're set for the duration of the cruise. Unlike other forms of vacation travel, you aren't bothered by the constant packing and unpacking as you move from location to location.

So after a day of touring a given port of call, it's comforting to find your way back to the ship, knowing that your creature comforts are close at hand. Take a shower, change your clothes, have a drink or maybe something to eat, take a nap before dinner, etc - all personal rewards after a hard day's touring.
