And so it came to pass, the trip was over and it's time to head home. Although our last bit of touring was on the island of Tenerife, our ship moved to the island of Las Palmas where the airport was located to fly us to Madrid, Spain and our flights home.
In my case, due to the unfortunate rescheduling I had to go through, my return trip home took me from Madrid, to Miami, to Los Angeles and finally to Reno. A very long trip, counting air time as well as connect time at the various airports. Ah, but I had to focus on why I took the trip. The flights and such are but a means to an end, and the end was my visit to Spain and the time spent aboard the Sea Cloud. A trip worth the trials and tribulations of air travel. So be it.
