We were told by our local guide that the Mamounia Hotel is the most famous and prestigious hotel at Marrakech. Famous people have stayed there and the hotel's decor and facilities are reported to be the best in Marrakech. On my morning walk, I had to check it out. I agree, it's a grand hotel.
