This photo gives you a closer look at the mosque's tower. You can better see the intricate design of the tower's outer walls. The tower appears to soar into the sky, but I'm sorry to say, I don't know its exact height.
Towers such as this are also called a minaret. Calls to prayer are made five times each day to the faithful. Not being used to it, I thought it was eerie to hear the calls broadcast loudly from minarets such as this one.
