I do a lot of mountain hiking, but using the Gibraltar cable car system to get to the top of the rock certainly beats trying to hike up there. I realize some people are not fond (afraid?) of cable cars, especially if they sway in the wind, but this cable car system gave a slow, smooth ride, with no lateral movement of any kind. I took a vantage point at end of the car and took a number of photographs. Quickly we were at the top of the rock, and greeted by a number of small apes seeking food or other handouts.
