Lighthouses have a certain appeal. They provide a valuable service to sea going vessels, to be sure, but many people are fascinated by the appearance of lighthouses. I have a friend who collects all kinds of lighthouse memorabila and souvenirs. The setting for this lighthouse is very attractive and the structure seems very well maintained.
