The ship had an open bridge where passengers could stop in to chat or see what was going on with the navigation of the ship. It was not a large compartment but then how large must a bridge be for a 360ft ship?
During my January trip to Antarctica aboard the icebreaker Polar Star many of the passengers stopped in at its bridge, simply to get inside and avoid the wind chill of the frigid artic air. The weather while aboard the Sea Cloud was mild by comparison. I visited the Sea Cloud's bridge only two or three times during the voyage.
