Our hotel was not in Granada's city center. So, unlike other trips and other hotels, I was not able to take a morning walk in the area surrounding the hotel. The Palace hotels, however, is but a short walking distance the Alhambra, a mediaeval city, built centuries ago as a fortress and a residence for Islamic royalty.
