We arrived at Khabarovsk on time, according to our schedule. We were greeted by a sunny day, and immediately disembarked to do some touring of the city. First on the agenda was to visit the Regional History Museum, but we also had time to take in other sites as well.
At many locations, we visited churches, and we were told about dress codes and picture taking. Primarily, Russians expect women to always wear something on their heads, and photographs were prohibited at most religious buildings.
This photo shows our group disembarked and getting last minute instructions about busses and the agenda for the day. I was impressed at how prompt everyone in our group assembled for an outing, both at the onset as well as the return. On some trips I've been on, there's always that "ten percent" that are late for everything, at the inconvenience of everyone else. My thanks to my travel mates for being on-time travelers. I appreciated it, and I'm sure everyone did too.
