In each city during this trip, others in my group found the local, open market, at which fresh produce was sold, and in the case of Dubrovnik and Split, they had their fish vendors. Here in Zagreb, the open market, called Dolac, is quite near the cathedral. Some in my group bought fresh fruit and vegetables, just to have something to munch on back at the hotel. In my case, I was not in the buying mood, although I was tempted by the nut vendor (cashews, peanuts, etc, etc).
