I caught this photo opportunity, first because I saw humor in it, but later thought I could tell trip story with it. So, I have entitled this page and photo "The stress of travel". The pole was already bent that way before John gave me his pose. And regarding stress, given that we had a number of long bus rides, there can be a kind of stress related to our travels. We survived though.
