Yesterday was a long and tiring day for our group. First, there was a long bus ride to bring us from Warsaw, in north Poland, to Krakow in the south country. On arrival late yesterday we packed in a visit to Auschwitz until it was dark. Then it was off to our hotel for a very late dinner.
Well this morning our group was up and about quite early and after breakfast followed our local guide for a brisk walking tour of the Krakow city centre. Our guide gave us information about the city as we walked, but sometimes we would pause at a given site and hear a longer explanation about the site.
