September 28, 2006 - St.Stanislaw Kostka Church

After a good night's rest, our group began the next day with a full agenda. The St.Stanislaw Kostka Church is noted for a past priest named Jerzy Popieluszko and has a museum dedicated in his honor. The landscaping at the church attempts to convey some of the difficult history of Poland.

Our group's visit to the church was primarily to use its lecture hall facilities. It puzzled me why we just didn't use meeting rooms at our hotel, but I imagine there might be some rental cost considerations for Elderhostel. So be it.
