I liked her style! Lecturer Tatyana Pylayeva arrived at our meeting room this day, checked the set-up of the projector, got out her materials and once things were ready, she chatted freely with those of us that arrived early for her lecture on the Estonian economy and social security issues.
Being a public speaker most of my working life, I was a bit concerned when I saw how thick her file of visuals were, but once she began her talk, I saw that she selectively drew from the stack as she evolved her subject. Throughout her presentation, she was candid and had good rapport with the audience. It makes a difference. She took questions during her talk, which was not the case with most speakers we had. Her talk revolved much around statistical analysis of the country's economy.
