By this time, I think we Americans expect to see McDonald's in virtually every country around the world. When I'm home, I'm up at 4:30AM and at the health club by 5AM. When traveling, I adjust to the local time zone pretty readily, and that was the case in Riga.
So, with breakfast not scheduled until 7AM, I had time to do a bit of exploring in Riga's city center. Although I was not looking for an earlier breakfast and an Egg McMuffin, I did stumble across a McDonald's near the Riga Hotel. As it worked out, they didn't open until 7AM either.
