On this our last full day in Scandinavia, I chose to skip the morning's lecture on Finnish art but did catch up to the group when we visited the Ateneum; The Finnish National Gallery at 10:30AM.
I wanted to see the Olympic grounds from the 1952 Olympics. On the same property was the Finnish Stadium and a large soccer field (football, as they refer to it in Europe). I tried to enter the stadium for a possible better photgraph but it was locked up and no one was around. I could have scaled the fence but I decided against that. So, I climbed a nearby hill and got this shot.
