On this day, I had free time in both the morning and afternoon, so I walked over to Stockholm's Old Town and visited the Royal Palace. There were separate fees depending on which part of the palace you wanted to tour. I chose the royal apartments guessing that would be representative of the palace rooms. This photo shows the entry staircase. A bit of grandeur, to be sure, but not quite as luxurious as other palaces I have toured.
