This day was devoted to a bus ride to get us from Oslo to Stockholm, Sweden. On the one hand, there's not much you can do spending an entire day on the road, but on the other hand, this was a good opportunity for use to see the countryside. We used a car ferry to get from Denmark to Norway and again from Sweden to Finland, so this day was the only time we got to see that actual countryside.
The highway was much like our U.S. Interstate System with limited access, but other roads were more like a U.S. designated highway with intersections and such. For some on the trip, the day was less demanding and a time to rest, read or converse with fellow travelers. I enjoyed seeing the very green countryside with its orderly farms, lots of trees and disciplined motorists.
