A new day is dawning, and this proved to be an exciting day indeed. By this time we were expert in taking our tents down and packing our bags, so it was just a matter of having breakfast, help load the raft, and away we go!
We camped last night at Mile 174 and the Cove Canyon. Yesterday, when we crossed Mile 165 on the river, we entered the Hualapai Indian Reservation and left the Grand Canyon National Park (boundary).
