Ah, the start of a new day. I was usually up by 5AM. In this photo, we can see Don R. taking down his tent. At some camp sites, we had rushing water to listen to but not always. We always had a starry sky to look at, and that was enjoyable. As far as the group, we were a quiet bunch with no rowdy activity after dark. Well, at least I didn't know of any.......
Camp on for the previous evening was at Mile 108, near the Bass Rapid.
The Colorado River flows through gorges with different names. Yesterday, we rafted through the Upper Granite Gorge area, around Mile 80. Today, we would raft through the Middle Granite Gorge area, around Mile 128. On our last day, we would be rafting through the Lower Granite Gorge area at Mile 225.
