Hey, a free drink is a free drink. But actually, there was more to our visit to the Peza Winery just south of Herakleion. The winery provides its visitors with a short video regarding the wine making process and then visitors can sample assorted wines (and raki, a strong "white lightning" kind of drink"). The winery had a gift shop with a fairly large variety of wine-related gifts. Our group certainly left some money there and came away with some goodies. In my case, I did buy a bottle of raki (rah-key) which I took home to share with my family.
