All to often, at least in the past, I would take pictures of 'things' that I saw on a given trip, but that didn't include much in the way of people local to the area I was visiting. So, I have made a promise to myself that on future trips I would try to include human interest kinds of pictures, primariy pictures of people.
This photo shows an older man, walking the streets of Santorini early one morning, doing multiple things. From a physical fitness point of view, he was getting some walking exercise for his good health. But reality sets in and I think his mission of the day was two fold. He seemed to be collecting trash which might be of value - recycleable cans, and also he was selling postcards to tourists like me. I smiled at him to wish him good day but I was not in a buying mood for postcards.
