I had found the museum on one of my early morning walks but at that time the museum was not open. Today our group toured the museum so I had the benefit of a prepaid ticket. Immediately inside the museum grounds visitors were greeted by the Roman mosiac shown in this photo.
Also displayed in the museum's courtyard were large artifacts unearthed somewhere in Greece. Stone tablets, columns and other sculptured marble or stone, plus tombs of various kinds. Impressive for such a small museum.
