Understandably, meals are important to the traveler and during my visits to many European countries, breakfast has varied a great deal. In some countries breakfast might include watered down juices, cold cuts, hard rolls, coffee and tea.
Here at the Prathenon Hotel in the city center of Athens, a buffet breakfast was served in an attractive way, with at least one hot dish each morning, with an assortment of side dishes (salad, cheese, toast, etc). Officially, breakfast at the hotel was scheduled for 7:00AM but I found coffee and juice each morning around 6:00AM such that I could get an early morning walk around the hotel's immediate area.
