I may have mentioned it before but while at Rarotonga, we saw chickens everywhere! It's obvious that there are no restrictions on people owning birds and animals and they're free to wander all over the place. I don't recall exactly where I took this photograph but it's immaterial - chickens, chicks and roosters were everywhere and anywhere. There was a rooster near the Inn and I heard him announce the new day each morning. I didn't really need an alarm clock.
