This photo shows the observation level on the fifth deck of our ship, the Polar Star. Beginning with the first day we boarded the ship and every day thereafter, our group met in this large room for lectures and other activities.
Our visit to Antarctica was now basically over and we were headed home. Our Elderhostel program leader addressed the group with some last minute logistical information and also offered his parting words. It was a good trip.
