The rough sea we encountered while crossing Drake's Passage may have been uncomfortable for most of the Elderhostel group but it was even harder on one of the group. Poor Phyllis lost here balance in her cabin and fell to the deck (floor) hitting here head on the furniture. Fortunately for her there was a doctor on board as part of the ship's crew and moreover he was a surgeon. After shaving a bit of her hair, he stitched her up, and made her a fashion plate with new headwear (skull cap). Phyllis was not bothered by the injury and enjoyed the remainder of the trip.
