I think everyone loves Onogrio's Fountain. The big one, that is. Built in 1438, it has been popular ever since. It supplies fresh water to the Old City and it's size and shape are so easy to remember that most people use it as a landmark and refrence point. As you criss cross the Old City, going hither and yon, you're bound to pass the fountain. I have not drank from the fountain but I have used it to rinse my hands from some food stuff. On more than one occasion, I have sat in a shaded spot along the fountain's base just to people watch. What fun!
