On my first visit to Dubrovnik, we took a boat trip south along the coast, to visit a small town called Cavtat. I thought I would do that this trip also, to rekindle some memories. My first two attempts to book a boat trip this time were a waste of time, with schedules being changed, boats delayed, and other excuses. I was getting nowhere fast.
On my third try, my guardian angel was looking after me and by chance when I walked up to the counter in this photo, the time was right for the next boat which was sitting there along side the pier. I paid my money and climbed aboard. We were off in just a few minutes and I was enjoying the sea air.
The boat trip to Cavtat is about forty minutes and after I took a few pictures leaving Dubrovnik's harbor, I settled in for a sightseeing trip. The morning was still cool and I did not have a jacket on, so I was feeling chilled by the time we reached Cavtat. Thankfully, I got off and found a sidewaalk cafe with seats in the sun.
