I don't know if it was a good thing to schedule a live concert given on the front steps of St.Blasius church, but the mass at 9:00 let out promptly at 10:00, the parishioners left and scattered by 10:30, the electricians and sound people set up for the concert and it began on time at 11:00am. A case study in efficiency, if I must say so.
An English choir was in town to give several concerts, one of which was free on Easter morning. A good size crowd assembled on Luza Square, in front of St.Blasius, and all went well. The acoustics were better than I would have guessed and the quality of the choir's voices were enjoyed, not lost. The viewers were appreciative of the choir's presentation, which consisted of church and some classical chorus songs. If you expected something more upbeat, you could come back the next day for a band concert, also free in front of St.Blasius. Dubrovnik knows how to please the tourists.
