I guess the official name is the "Bell Tower" but I call it the "Clock Tower" The tower was built in 1444 and has survived wars and earthquakes in grand style. The tower is among Dubrovnik's better known landmarks, being situated at the intersection of Placa and Pred dvorrom.
The bell tower has an unusual clock. In this photo, notice the two, relatively small rectangles below the large and small circles. This is where the time is displayed. The left rectangle will show the hour in roman numberals and the right rectangle will display minutes with arabic numbers. So 3:15 would be shown as "III" and "15". I have never seen such a clock. Oh well, so much for convention.
