This photo was taken at my IBM retirement party, hosted by the SHARE CICS Project, in San Francisco, Spring 1997. Ben Riggins, the Father of CICS, drove up from his home in the south bay area, to join the party. I first met Ben in 1968, when he was putting his ideas for CICS together in Des Plaines, Illinois, the first official CICS Development site.
